About Me
My name’s Taj Ramm and I love golf.
I’ve been playing golf off and on since I was about 7 years old, so I guess you could say I’ve got more than 30 years experience 🤣.
It can so much fun to play. At times very rewarding.
Definitely challenging.
And as you would know, it can also be such a tough frustrating sport.
Especially when you can only get out to play on weekends (or maybe at best once per month).
I found a lot of the information online is focused on more experienced players that play multiple times per week and are looking to get their handicap into single figures.
But for most of us, that just isn’t the case.
That’s why I started a site that is focused on the weekend golfer.
To provide relevant information I found along my journey as a weekend golfer. And practical tips and advice when you have limited time, and play less often.
The golfer who is looking to break 90 or 100 for the first time (or stay under there once they do break it).
About Weekend Golf
At Weekend Golf, the purpose is to help players enjoy their golf while at the same time helping you to hit your best round ever.
Instead of getting frustrated and start hating the game you once loved, the site will ensure that you can make continuous improvement and most of all help you enjoy it even more.
Golf Tips & Advice
With so much advice and methods around it can be confusing to know what advice to follow and what to ignore.
As I work to improve my game and try various techniques and training I’ll share what works (and just as importantly what doesn’t).
Introduce New Players to The Game of Golf
Helping new players break into the sport is important, so I want to provide an easy to understand resource for new players.
Golf can be an intimidating sport when you are just getting started. There are a lot of “unwritten” rules and etiquette you are supposed to follow.
I’ll try to answer all the questions you have about golf, no matter how simple they seem.
By expanding the reach of the website, I hope to touch the lives of many new players and bring them on board to understand the game.
If you think your expertise and contributions can make a difference to Weekend Golf, you can get in touch with me.
I write most of content on the site, but having additional experts is always welcome. The main goal is to give you the highest possible quality content and improve your game.
